Meet Our Team

Dr. Stuart Fox

Veterinarian

Hi, I’m Dr. Stuart Fox the owner of River Bridge Animal Hospital and Laser Therapy Center. I feel that I am the luckiest person in the world to do the work I do each day. I knew I wanted to be a veterinarian since I was a small child.

As a child, I was asked: “what do you want to do when you grow up”? My answer was always, to work helping animals. I often say, “there was no plan B”.

I was raised here in Palm Beach County and returned in 1989 after earning my Doctor of Veterinary medicine degree at Ross School of Veterinary Medicine.

I have a special interest in many aspects of the welfare of animals but have a special interest in internal medicine, surgery, and dermatology. I also serve on the board of directors for one of the largest non-profit dog and cat rescues in south Florida, A Second Chance Puppies, and Kittens Rescue. My wife Lugina and I have raised 3 children as well as numerous dogs and cats.

When I am not treating animals, I enjoy my classic cars, my coral reef aquarium and arts and crafts with the help of Pinterest.

Hobbies

As a child, his father introduced him into the tropical fish hobby, and still to this day enjoys the hobby. At home, Dr. Fox maintains a 150 gallon reef aquarium.

Dr. Ysabel Wright

Veterinarian

Dr. Ysabel Wright earned her undergraduate degree from Loyola University New Orleans before graduating from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2017.

Dr. Wright is passionate about providing compassionate, high-quality care while helping pet owners make informed decisions about their pets' health. Her professional interests include preventive medicine, internal medicine, Fear Free veterinary care, soft tissue surgery, and public health through the One Health approach, which recognizes the connection between human, animal, and environmental health. She particularly enjoys educating clients and empowering families to keep their pets healthy throughout every stage of life.

She is passionate about improving access to veterinary care and hopes to one day establish a nonprofit organization dedicated to making preventive veterinary services, education, and select specialty care more attainable for underserved communities.

Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Dr. Wright enjoys spending time with her husband, Akeen, and their two young children. Outside of the hospital, she loves dancing, creating arts and crafts, exploring the outdoors, and both listening to and playing music as a cellist. Whether she's caring for patients or spending time with her family, Dr. Wright brings enthusiasm, positivity, and a genuine passion for helping others to everything she does.
