Dr. Stuart Fox

Hi, I’m Dr. Stuart Fox the owner of River Bridge Animal Hospital and Laser Therapy Center. I feel that I am the luckiest person in the world to do the work I do each day. I knew I wanted to be a veterinarian since I was a small child.

As a child, I was asked: “what do you want to do when you grow up”? My answer was always, to work helping animals. I often say, “there was no plan B”.

I was raised here in Palm Beach County and returned in 1989 after earning my Doctor of Veterinary medicine degree at Ross School of Veterinary Medicine.

I have a special interest in many aspects of the welfare of animals but have a special interest in internal medicine, surgery, and dermatology. I also serve on the board of directors for one of the largest non-profit dog and cat rescues in south Florida, A Second Chance Puppies, and Kittens Rescue. My wife Lugina and I have raised 3 children as well as numerous dogs and cats.

When I am not treating animals, I enjoy my classic cars, my coral reef aquarium and arts and crafts with the help of Pinterest.

Hobbies

As a child, his father introduced him into the tropical fish hobby, and still to this day enjoys the hobby. At home, Dr. Fox maintains a 150 gallon reef aquarium.
